Info on Reverse Charge Call Rates

1. If I call someone in the UK using my cell phone & a calling card, will I be charged international distance charges?

2. And how will that call show up on my bill, if it shows up at all?

3. Reverse it, if someone calls me from the UK using a calling card- will I be charged long distance charges and deducted extra minutes?

4. How will that show up on my bill?

I tried asking the people at the Verizon Wireless store, but they weren't much help …

1. yes you still will be charged international the only way you dont get charged international is if someone calls you no matter where it is

your welcome i know this because i had verizon for a long time and my best friend was in iraq with my brother and if they called it just took my mins but if i called it took international rates and the same with text messages they are not free they cost 0.25 to send and 0.25 to receive international

I get lots of annonymouse phone calls on my cell phone and I want to know who they are. Most websites charge. Do you know of any free website?

cell phones are being treated like regular phone numbers now-a-days. A regular reverse lookup will work as long as it isn't unlisted. Note that some phone numbers are still being switched into the database so check back each week if it doesn't show up yet.

I have an money market and checking account, and I usually keep the money in money market account. I had set up bill pay and forgot once to transfer the amount to checking account. Not at all. Accounts don't show on your credit report unless "lending" or "credit" is involved. And then only negitive things show if you are more than 30 days past due. The only way a checking account related item would show on your report is if it was sold to a collection company and they reported it.

I found a handy little service called the Reverse Phone Detective, its really handy for checking up on annoying or unknown calls.

Do you ever get those phone calls that come at the most inopportune time? It never fails; Ill sit down to dinner with the family, and the phone will start ringing. We never answer the phone during dinner, but after dinner I like to check up on any calls and see from whom it came. On most nights, there are zero messages, no matter how many phone calls.

I used to just leave it at that, walk away and see the same numbers day after day. Sometimes Id try calling back and either get a lot of annoying computer noises, someone in India or — once in a long while — someone I actually wanted to talk to.

One of my sons actually suggested I do a reverse phone lookup to see who had been calling me. I never thought of it before, it sounded like something Id see on Law & Order. But sure enough, after a quick search for reverse phone lookup online, I found exactly what I was looking for.

The first thing I did was use the online reverse lookup to find the number of a really annoying telemarketer.

I called them back and was really nice about telling them to never call me again — and they didnt!

I also used the service to call a few old friends back who had called but had not left messages. It was great to catch up with them, and now I wonder how many calls I missed that I actually wanted to receive.

The reverse phone search got a bookmark on my Internet browser since I use it so much.

There were a ton of other features beside the simple reverse phone number lookup — some stuff that really sounded like detective tools:

* Find prank callers
* Research numbers that pop up on your phone bill

* Research missed calls on your caller ID that you dont recognize

I could see it being used to check up on your kids phone use, or even do some detective work on your spouse. Though I used it only to find a couple friends and give a piece of mind to telemarketers — which was well enough for me!
