reverse charge calls
hi all
i live in the UK..
i need to call my Bf on a reverse charge call
he lives in US..
Does any one know the number to reverse the charge.. he said its ok to do it x
thanks all
In all honesty, reverse charge calls ("collect calls" in U.S.) are very very expensive and you should only use them as a very last resort or in an emergency. You could end up having your boyfriend charged up to £2 per minute.
Instead, you should consider buying a pre-paid International phone card which will give you significantly discounted rates for calling overseas, say for example 2 or 3p / minute.
Even calling direct would be significantly less than a reverse charge, say 10 or 15p / minute.

reverse charge calls
If I live in Australia, can I call someone in america reverse charge.
I know the number to call to australia is 1800-reverse but that is only incoming calls. is it the same for outgoing?
It would be mega-expensive.
It would be better to go to the corner store and buy an "international calling card", that way you can pay up front and you’re all set. No bad surprises later.
